Studies have shown that beneficial gut bacteria can help with weight loss by enhancing your metabolic rate and decreasing overall body fat. This reduction in body fat is caused by a direct increase in energy expenditure through burning fat. Your body is not focused on storing fat; instead, it uses it as fuel.
